Yes it has been forever. I apologize! There has been so many negative things doing their rounds. Just wanted to to for it to blow over a little.

I'm still here and im still a huge supporter. But over the past few years the campaigne to help schapelle i have found seemed a race or competittion to so many support groups, and individuals.This made me sick.

But, enough about what i think.

Schapelle will spend her fourth year in kero this year! She will be thirty one, and i would like to encourage everyone and anyone to send her a nice little note or a card, just to let her know that your thinking of her :)

One Year On

Tomorrow It will be exactly a year since we all sat in front of our TV’s Australia wide watching and waiting for the Schapelle Corby verdict to be handed down. The year has passed so fast, and yet, so much has taken place in this short time.

Many support bases have disappeared; this has also dragged down large amounts of supporters in the past year. Those of us that are still here, writing and campaigning...Should be very proud of our efforts...and Need to continue our support for years to come.

I would also like to mention two awesome web sites that have kept up support, and assisted many supporters with information and news updates. Without such sites the strong support base would be non-existent.

Marijuana Destroyed

Bali police burn Corby's marijuana

Bali police have burned the stash of marijuana that sent Schapelle Corby to an Indonesian jail for 20 years.
The drugs were piled up on top of a metal drum in a backyard beside the Denpasar District Court where a distraught Corby was convicted on May 17 last year.
There was little fuss apart from some dizziness among some of the spectators after chief prosecutor I Ketut Arthana, who led the case against the Gold Coast woman, poured petrol on the pile and set it alight.
Watching on were Denpasar Mayor Anak Agung Puspa Yoga and local police chief Hari Dono Sukmanto, as well as a small crowd of journalists, who said they became giddy as pungent smoke wafted over the yard.
Her infamous zip-lock boogie board bag in which the drugs were found by Bali airport customs officers also went up in flames along with the board and even Corby's surf fins.
Other drugs from other criminal cases were also destroyed, including almost 10,000 ecstasy pills, 1.9 kg of heroin and 4.2 grams of hashish, as well as bottles of illegal home-made beer.
Corby, a former student beautician and shop assistant, wasn't there.
She remains locked up in Bali's Kerobokan Prison after the Supreme Court in Jakarta in January rejected her appeal and restated the 20-year term that had been cut by five years by a lower appeal court.
Her legal team has asked the Supreme Court - Indonesia's highest - to review its decision. But granting such a request would be an unusual move and is far from certain.
Corby defence lawyer Erwin Siregar, who watched the burning, said he was concerned the evidence had been destroyed.
"If we find new evidence and then reopen the case, and they want to check, the evidence is no longer there," he said.
Corby's defence rested on claims the cannabis was planted in her bag by mistake by baggage handlers at Australian airports working for drug traffickers.
Siregar said he failed to convince Arthana to delay Friday's bonfire and admitted that there was no obligation to stall the burning, because Corby's legal case had already been completed.
Still, he said, they should have waited in the interests of "finding the truth".
Arthana said the drugs had to be destroyed to prevent the stash being stolen from a police lockup.
"We didn't want to keep it for too long," he said. "Although (the evidence) is secured behind an iron door it is only guarded by one person."
He said 8kg of heroin smuggled by the Bali Nine could not be burned yet because the Australians were still appealing.

I would like to take some time to look at a wonderful Schapelle supporter. She is a Friend of mine who puts hours upon hours of efforts into what she does, and I'm sure many of you know who that person is. This Girl, deserves a huge round of applause, and many, many thanks.

Whilst sitting here I decided to mention her and just let BEAUTIFUL SONIC know that I highly appreciate her friendship, and not only that, but also that I admire her courage and efforts, as I'm sure so many others do as well.

You'd have to have been living under a rock to have missed the reinstatement of 20year sentence. This has made many people angry, and even more eager to support the cause. When something major such as this happens many people tend to turn to one another asking....
"what do we do now"? 15 Years Not Good Enough!

Schapelle Corby has been Given a five year reduction to her 20 year sentance.
The reason for this reduction is said to have been that the Judges decided that the previous
sentance was too harsh as cannabis was not as extreme as other narcotics.

"Her sentence has been reduced by five years to 15 years, but that is still inhuman," Mr Paris said.
"This is only marijuana, not heroin. If the prosecutor appeals this case, then I will also appeal. I also will talk about the verdict with Corby."
Corby's sister said her family was devastated by the appeal court's decision.

The Wait

Schapelle Corby, was set to learn the findings of her appeal this week, But as it seems the High Court judges have written to the Supreme Court to request another 30 days.
A time extension is usually granted only once and the High Court has already pushed out the detention period by a month.
Schapelle’s Lawyer Erwin Siregar, seems quite sure that Schapelle will receive good news from the appeal,
But has also promised that in the event of disappointment they will definitely lodge an appeal to the Supreme Court in Jakarta.
"We expect a good result in the court, but we will have to wait and see," he said.

Siregar said without another extension order or an appeal court ruling, Corby would have to be freed from Kerobokan on Thursday when the current order expired.

Many of you may have seen the few articles circling the media.
Schapelle Corby was voted one of Australia’s most sexiest woman, and is set to gain $500,000
If freed and agrees to a bikini shoot.

Reading these articles made me feel physically sick, how can people even think of this woman in such a disrespectful manner? Is she not fighting a 20year sentence? And yet these men aren’t campaigning to set her free, they aren’t sending her letters of support, money……This to me is seen as pure selfishness and disrespect for women. FHM has also stated that the reason for not publicizing the votes earlier had a lot to do with the fact that at the time Schapelle was fighting execution! I often wonder what circles in the mind of some males? It was never appropriate to make public, nor is it an acceptable act on behalf of Schapelle or the many males making these requests.

I highly doubt she would be able to understand why this has been decided, or why she would be viewed that way…..But I think she would throw in a sarcastic laugh! This is awful, and I am very tempted to write to FHM for their stupidity, but I know I would be ignored!
I just have to say to everyone out there….Ignore the voices of fools, and keep doing all that you can in assisting Schapelle and the Corby Family! Letters, Care packages, prayers, and support!

This letter shows how many of us feel, and as soon as I received this I felt that
this was something everyone should have the opportunity to read :)

In Defence of a Beautiful Soul, Kicked by Cowards Whilst She’s Down.

We’ve heard a lot of detraction about a blue eyed, pretty faced girl.
Her gender age and beauty reputably being the only justification for the public interest and enormous support appreciated by Schapelle Corby
Far be it from me to deny her beauty, I’m not blind!
Rather I affirm she is beautiful, in heart, spirit and soul as well.
But what the hell has that got to do with the perfidious denial of rights visited upon an innocent victim?
The Federal Government’s abandonment of an Australian citizen and Indonesia’s contamination and destruction of vital evidence
Not to mention the manipulation of the court’s terms of reference to ensure the impossibility of proving her innocence.
The support for Schapelle grew out of the outrage, love and determination of herself, her family and friends.
The Aussie desire to defend the rights of a victim and stand by our own
As well as the enormous respect gained for this amazing young woman through exposure to her and the efforts by the ever increasing support networks established
But let’s get to the point!
Schapelle Corby has shown herself to be a very special lady possessing enormous strength of character and integrity, let alone true grit!
She exhibits absolute faith in her innocence as befitting her well developed ideals and principles.
Unerring trust in her support from her family, friends, the Australian people and her belief in justice!
But most of all!
Schapelle has shown us she transcends her own plight to exhibit a greater love, appreciation, concern and compassion for her family, friends and supporters than you pack of cretinous cynical winger’s could muster amongst the mangy lot of you!
I’m bloody proud she’s Australian and sincerely hope I have her blessing to call her "our girl" and family as she has been taken into the hearts of a nation and is loved and cared for by more than she will most probably ever realise.
I, like many others pledge my support and will maintain that on going support for as long as it takes to secure her freedom and beyond.
Schapelle and her family have earned my continuing love, honour and respect.
I will never forgive or forget their pain and torment and will remain indefinitely available to her and hers’.
So to the Australian Government and detractors alike, you sad, self centred character assassins "get onboard" or shut up and crawl back under the rock you came from.
Aussies don’t desert their own and never kick a mate when they’re down.

The only reward I and I suspect my fellow true Aussies desire for our efforts is the full healing, restitution of the wonderful spirit and personality and perhaps the privilege of witnessing the unsullied, glorious smile of this truly amazing, beautiful Aussie when she is home safe, well and totally free.
I believe Schapelle’s smile will light up Australia and warm the hearts and souls of multitudes.
Most certainly the thought of Schapelle free will light up my world and cause my heart and spirit to soar.

Today schapelle steps into court once again!
I am quite scattered at the moment, so I shall keep it short and simple! FINGERS CROSSED!!

Keep this girl in mind today, and whatever religion, or beliefs you hold-please say a short prayer for her! She is doing it tough, and needs our support!

Don't dare forget her......I won't but i just want to keep people aware that, just because the media isn't jumping on her and her story so much anymore, please don't let this make you stray also!

EXTENTION GRANTED

Schapelle’s Re-Trial began on the 20th of July.
Her team requested that they have an extension
To provide the courts with more evidence, and hopefully a culprit!
They were granted an extension until the 3rd of August!

The scene on the way to the courtroom was appalling,
Schapelle was quite harshly thrown about!

Let’s continue to hope and pray that these witnesses come forward,
And can help out with case! She has worked to hard for this to fall apart, and i think that with all the support, it won’t fall apart...because we can get very angry!
(Although I don't want it to come to that)

Yesterday you may have seen the footage of schapelle screaming, swearing and even pushing, prison guards off herself!The media, never actually explained why this was, as they tend to put a picture in your mind and allow you to create your own opinions on why this was taking place!

This all began with the visit of human rights officials checking up on the state of the prison, and if it was running correctly!

They made her out to be some sort of Fruitloop.......

I have one question, and as i ask this question, i find myself laughing in hysterics

HUMAN RIGHTS?hahahahah!
what an embarrassment, to the indonesian Government.....This was an awful occurrence,
But, one has to think "How will this make The indonesian System look"?

SCHAPELLE TURNS 28

Schapelle Corby will turn 28 on the 10th of July! Whilst in Kerobokan, visitors will not be seeing her on this date.....as Sunday is very rarely a day visitors are permitted! Schapelle has told her family that she will remain 27 until she is home!

I would like to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Although I am aware that this will not be!

Trial RE-OPENED

The schapelle Corby Trial has been re-opened, at the request of the indonesian high court!This allows Schapelle and her legal team to bring forward new witnesses, and perhaps even someone who will admitt to placing the marijuana in to her boogie board bag on october 8th 2004!
